Meet Cam, our fun -loving, Sonic-obsessed 7-year-old patient. As a twin and a Premature NICU baby, his little body has been in fight or flight for a long time. After seeing Dr. Loerch’s post about neuro-tonal adjustments. Mom was interested in getting an appointment, as Cam has an overactive sympathetic dominant nervous system.
We have been working together for a little over 2 months at this point. While there have been some ups and downs in terms of finding the right balance, we have so many positives to share.
1.He is now able to sleep in his bed on his own for the first time EVER.
2. Bowel movements seem more regular
3. His ability to redirect and change into the next activity has improved.
4. Cam is now fully off of ADHD meds!
There is still a lot of work to be done, but he is continuously improving and currently working on executive functioning skills; how to regulate and adapt better to both school and home needs. Its so amazing to see these little wins that mean so much for him and his future!.
